fight bursts out as wife invades husband's wedding with lover

fight
There was confusion at the Harare Magistrates’ Courts yesterday after a wife stormed the wedding between her husband and his new lover. The wife identified as Magdalene Chamunorwa showed up at the court in the company of her relatives and thoroughly beat up the said girlfriend.
She revealed to the marriage officer, Mr Tendai Mahwe, that the groom, Gift Singano, was her husband and that they have four children together.
She stormed into the wedding room moments before Singano exchanged vows with his new babe Francisca Kanyama. The drama was taken outside the court building where Magdalene exchanged blows with Francisca, who was still clad in her wedding gown.
The fight happened in full view of Singano who watched helplessly as his wife and lover got down to “business”. Onlookers, who were attending to their court businesses, cheered the fight and accused Kanyama of being a husband snatcher.
“He is my husband and we got married in 1992. I only discovered he wanted to marry his girlfriend when I saw a profile picture of her on his phone. We stay together in our matrimonial house in Crowborough here in Harare but he leaves me in the house and goes to co-habit with his girlfriend in Mufakose,” said the wife.
The man Singano confirmed that he has four children with Magdalene, but submitted that he divorced her five years ago. “We divorced in 2011 because she was too violent and I decided to end the marriage and left the house,” he said.

This fitness model shows the results of her work out.

This Nigerian fitness model, based in the US, is attracting attention for her ability to stay real fit.
She said she works out every morning to achieve this.

Mr. Ibu lets out how LUTH killed his son.

ibu
Oh dear! This is so heartbreaking and anyone reading this can only pray to God to give us and our children good health so we don’t need to visit hospitals especially the public ones. It’s so heartbreaking and unthinkable! This shouldn’t happen in a country that is independent.
So in a new interview, Mr Ibu made mention of how he does not woo women but how they woo him and run after him and we had wanted to make our story line in that direction until we got to the part where he explained how he lost his young son at LUTH so we decided to feature that. His narration right after the cut. Things are happening in this country mehn…
“The matter was actually between the Paediatric Department of the hospital and me. It was in 2011. My wife and our two-year-old son had been kidnapped. After I paid the ransom demanded and they were released by the kidnappers, I returned to Lagos from Enugu.
“Then on January 18, 2011, my son fell ill. He was diagnosed with inflammation of the liver. The hospital suggested that he should be scanned. At the same time, I was informed that I could take my son out of the hospital to get the scan done elsewhere. But the same people later declined, saying that everything had to be done in the hospital because he was too weak to be taken outside.
“After a while, I was told that there was no electricity in the hospital. When I asked if there was no standby generator, they said there was no fuel in it. I offered to pay for fuel only to be told that the man that operated the generator was not around. When I left the place and got back later, the man still had not returned. Then I was advised to write an application and to submit to the admin department.”
After writing the application, Okafor found that there was nobody to receive and treat it. While he was waiting, he was told that his son’s condition required blood transfusion. The actor did everything possible to ensure that the ailing boy was given treatment at the hospital, but his efforts were in vain. Finally, the little boy gave up the ghost.
“That was how my son died. Later, one of the doctors came to me and, without even sympathising with me, asked if I could release my boy’s corpse to him so that they could cut it open and use it to teach other medical students. In that moment, I felt like committing murder for the first time in my life.
“When I told my lawyer what happened at the hospital, he was shocked. He said it was actionable. I told him that I was ready to take the hospital management to court and sue it for $100 million in damages because my son’s death was caused by the carelessness of the professionals whose duty was to save his life. But my lawyer advised me to let go

The pastor that got stuck in Ogun State shrine finally speaks out to the people.

pastor2
A Pastor, Prince Adewale Fagbire, who was alleged to have been struck dumb and motionless when he invaded his community shrine at Ketu – Ayetoro in Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun state while pulling it down, has told The Nation that though the town’s traditionalists assaulted him with “charms and other fetish objects,” but was not “harmed” at all.
Fagbire, who is a Pastor at the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Ayetoro area, said he actually entered the shrine, evacuated all the fetish items that were kept there and also took a position beside the entrance to it in quietness as instructed by God.
Prince Fagbire, son of the past Alaye of Ayetoro, Oba Taiwo Fagbire, who joined his ancestors in 1981 after his 20year reign in the agrarian community, said his late father and monarch, used to take him to the said shrine occasionally when he was alive.
Narrating his experience to The Nation and a handful of reporters, at the Office of the Chairman, Ogun State chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Bishop Tunde Akin – Akinsanya, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, Fagbire said he elected to “remain calm and mute” during the assault and interrogation at the shrine by the traditionalists and some villagers.
Speaking in the presence of over a dozen of Christian leaders from CAN and Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) in Ogun State, said God instructed him to stay calm and not utter a word at the shrine.
The father of two noted that his not talking or not uttering a word on the site of the shrine had nothing to with his being beaten with “charms and fetish objects” by the traditionalists as what they did had no physical or spiritual effects on him.
According to him, it was also not true as reported in some section of the media that the priests and custodians of the shrine upon the intervention of the Alaye of Ayetoro, Oba Abdulaziz Adelakun, treated or healed him before he could regain his consciousness.
“I was conscious, physically and mentally sound, during and after the incident because God was already with me. I followed the instruction of the LORD to enter the shrine and packed all the items there away. I followed God’s instruction to be quiet as instructed by God.
“God told me to go there (the shrine), create a scene, step aside and watch the film (the unfolding events). They struck me with charms and nothing happened to me. They know the truth, nobody treated me and I spoke when I got to the Palace of the Oba,” he said.
The Nation gathered that although the traditionalists demanded N300,000 from a church in the community where Fagbire had once preached and also N200,000 from the pastor’s family to perform sacrifices to appease the gods for his alleged sacrilege but nothing was given to them eventually.
The church in the community incurred the wrath of the traditionalists and was attacked following the allegation that it instigated Prince Fagbire to carry out the alleged sacrilege on the shrine.

Ohaneze Ndigbo serves Fulani herdsmen a quit notice with immediate effect

hjk
The apex Igbo group, Ohaneze Ndigbo has send a message to President Muhammadu Buhari expressing their displeasure at the activities of Fulani herdsmen in the south east region sending a signal that they’re not welcome anymore.
Herdsmen have been fingered in several crime in south east region ranging from kidnapping to killing and sometimes destruction of farmlands with their cattle.
Vanguard reports that the apex group made this demand on Thursday, September 29 at the World Igbo Day in Enugu.
The group also called on the federal government to release Nnamdi Kanu, the director of Radio Biafra who has been in detention since October 10, 2015.
It said this may be the reason for the renewed agitation for Biafra.
OAU Onyema who represented Gary Igariwey, the president-general said: “We reiterate our position on the unconditional release of Nnamdi Kanu and urge the Federal Government to take a critical look at the reasons why the young man agitating without arms or element of violence will embark on such separatist cause.
“We once again raise our voice on the unholy situation and unfortunate state of the federal roads in the region which have caused a trip from Enugu-Onitsha to take five hours contrary to the one hour it used to take. It is completely unpalatable to connect any south-east state. We also urge the Federal Government to reconsider its proposed sale of national assets. We believe that these priceless assets already acquired, stand at the centre of the economy of this country, and if managed well, will give growth and hope to our posterity.”
The group noted that Igbos were hardworking people and should therefore stop bemoaning the alleged marginalisation by the federal government.
Chief Ralph Obioha who is the factional leader of Ndigbo urged them to embrace love and peace.
“There was a period Nigeria did not have universities.
“Through individual sacrifices and communal efforts, Ndigbo children joined the race in pursuit of the so-called golden fleece overseas and acquitted themselves in an outstanding manner. “Despite starting over 50 years behind some other Nigerian nationalities in the pursuit of higher education, the outcome by the early 1960s was the bridging of the tertiary education gap. By 1960, the Vice Chancellors of three of the most prominent universities in Nigeria were not only Nigerians, but were internationally renowned scholars of Igbo origin.”
Meanwhile, Osita Okechukwu has said that the possibility of achieving Biafra was defeated in 2014 during the Goodluck Jonathan-led national conference.
Okechukwu who is the director general of the Voice of Nigeria spoke at the Abuja chapter of the Ohaneze Ndigbo on Wednesday, September 28 where he said the Igbo nation was not united which was why there was no unanimous voice to vote in its support during the Jonathan conference

University shuts down over students protests

unilag
The authorities of University of Lagos (UNILAG), Akoka, have ordered the closure of the gates of the main campus at Akoka due to protest by students.
The aggrieved students were said to be protesting against the rustication of some members of the students’ union.
The rusticated students were leaders of the students body that led a protest in April over poor electricity and water supply in the community, and the difficulty faced by a large number of students living off campus to attend classes as a result of the fuel crisis.
Members of the suspended University of Lagos Students Union (ULSU) executive had earlier in the month protested what they described as an “unjust rustication” of the union members.
The aggrieved students gathered at the school’s Senate building to demand thorough investigation of the suspensions of the students’ leaders, ranging from two to four semesters, for their role in a protest that led to the closure of the university in April.

A woman kidnaps her neice. Read the silly reason why she did it!!!

kidnap-crime
The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a Ghanaian, Enyolam Believe, for allegedly kidnapping her niece in the Ikotun area of the state.
It was learnt that Believe, who had been living in Lagos for the past 17 years, conspired with her friend, Agatha Aigbomiam, to commit the crime last Tuesday. The eight-year-old victim was alleged to have been kidnapped on her way to school and taken to Ogun State by Aigbomiam.
The victim was said to have raised the alarm which drew the attention of residents, leading to the arrest of both suspects.
A police source said 43-year-old Believe and the victim’s mother had searched for the child, including reporting a case of missing person at a police station.
He said, “The suspect and the girl’s mother are sisters. Believe, however, colluded with her friend, Aigbomiam, to abduct the girl so that she could make money from the mother.
“Their plan was that the friend would kidnap the child and hide her somewhere in Ogun State, while she would negotiate the ransom with the mother on the phone.
“When the girl went missing, the girl’s mother called her and they both searched for the girl. She even suggested that they should report the case to the police. The mother never suspected that she was behind the kidnap.”
The source said while people were looking for the girl, the suspect was also trailing the movement of her friend and the victim on the phone.
He said the kidnapped girl, while in captivity, raised the alarm that Aigbomiam was not her mother and called for help from some Ogun residents, who came to her aid.
The matter was said to have been reported to a community leader, who invited the police.
The source said, “When the police discovered that Aigbomiam was not alone in the crime and she was receiving calls from Believe, they decided to play along. They asked her to invite Believe to Ogun State.
“It was when she arrived that the police arrested her. The case was subsequently transferred to Lagos State where the offence was committed. That was where the mother of the girl saw that her own sister was behind her ordeal.”
The suspects, who were paraded before journalists at the police command headquarters in Ikeja on Thursday, confessed to the crime.
Believe said she hoped to make N30,000 from the kidnap, adding that she needed the money for a business.
She said, “I have my own children. I needed money badly that time and I thought of different ideas, which didn’t work. So, I decided to kidnap my sister’s daughter and demand N30,000 ransom from her. I involved my friend because I didn’t want to be the one to take the girl from school. I don’t know what came over me.”
Aigbomiam, a 42-year-old trader from Ekpoma, Edo State, said Believe asked her to kidnap the victim after she returned from a surgery in Benin.
“She said she wanted to use the girl to collect some money from her sister. She just showed me the girl’s school and I kidnapped her around 7.30am on Tuesday, while she was going to school. I took her to my relative’s house in Ogun State. I was stupid for doing such a thing.”
The state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, while advising parents and guardians to be vigilant over their children and wards, said the suspects would be arraigned in court at the end of investigation

God help us so that we can survive. naira trending to 500/USD

naira
Nigeria’s foreign exchange market was tension-soaked yesterday, as the Naira raced towards N500/USD1. It closed at N490/ USD1 in the parallel market, with dealers expecting further rise today to hit the dreaded N500 mark.
Surprisingly, the Naira appreciated significantly to N305/ USD at the official interbank market same day, although dealers said foreign exchange was not available to most of the bids.
Meanwhile, the global investment bank, Morgan Stanley of United States of America, has warned that its MSCI Nigeria Indexes would be reclassified as Stand-alone next year, if currency restriction was instituted by the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN.
Also the World Bank said, yesterday, that Nigeria and South Africa would drag down Africa’s growth rate by 1.6 per cent in 2016, as strings of negative economic indicators

Time has come when we should start giving these rapists short sleeves!!!

rapists
The Lagos State Police Command has arrested three men for allegedly raping and impregnating a 14-year-old girl in the Agric, Ikorodu area of Lagos State.
Punch correspondent learnt that the suspects – Kingsley Oke, Henry Osadere and Francis Ekwe – were arrested in the Majidun, Ikorodu area of Lagos State, before they were transferred to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, Ikeja.
It was gathered that the suspects, who lived in the same area with the parents of the teenager, identified only as Ijeoma, allegedly raped the girl in August 2016, after the mother went for a vigil.
Punch correspondent gathered that Ijeoma, a primary 6 pupil, was later discovered by the mother to be pregnant, and she reported to the police at the Owutu division.
The police said the three men were arrested on September 9, 2016. Speaking with Punch Metro, Ijeoma said one of the suspects threatened to kill her if she disclosed the rape to anyone.
She said, “It was Uncle Kingsley (Oke) who first raped me. On that evening, he called me and said he would send me on an errand. When I went to his room, he immediately locked the door.
“I started begging him, but he forcefully carried me to his bed and raped me. On the second occasion, it was one man called Baba Ijebu that molested me. I had been sent to his house to collect an item.
“While in his house, he raped me. I cried, but he said I would die if I told anyone. The third man was Henry (Osadere). I don’t want to talk about it again.”
Forty-three-year-old Osadere, however, denied raping Ijeoma, saying she was a wayward girl.
He said, “She came to my place and said she had many boyfriends. I asked how a teenager like her had several boyfriends. Anytime she came to my apartment, she would steal some items. That was why I sent her away.
“I was surprised that she said I was one of those who raped her. She said she had a three-month-old pregnancy. I don’t know the other suspects. The girl lied against me. She knows the people who messed around with her. It was because I stopped her from coming to my house that she lied against me.”
Oke, 30, a welder, said, “I have known the girl since 2014. She usually came to my house to play. She is a wayward girl. Everyone knows about her promiscuity. I never raped her.”
Ekwe, 52, said Ijeoma and her mother had begged him in August to borrow them some money, which he did, adding that he did not rape the girl.
The state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, said the suspects would be charged to court at the end of investigations.

cattle-take-over-abuja
Worried by continuous movement of cows in the City Centre despite several warnings by the Federal Capital Territory authorities, Senate Committee on FCT, has ordered the slaughtering of Cows found in the city centre.
The directive was handed down to the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Alhaji Mohammed Bello when he appeared before the Committee on Monday.
Committee Chairman, Senator Dino Melaye, in his address registered Senate’s disappointment at the manner Fulani herdsmen defy the order that they should not move their cows in the capital city, insisting that the Minister must carry out Senate’s position on that.
“From now, get knives and ask your men to slaughter cows found in the capital city or prosecute herdsmen seen with cows in the city centre with a fine of N50,000 per cow. This order must be carried out,” Dino said.
Dino further revealed that the Senate had received complaints that some residents of the territory were converting their apartments into hotels and brothels, a situation he said was distorting original master plan of the city.
He noted that some people were already undermining FCT authority under his watch which he said was unacceptable.
In response to the Committee’s demand that the said plot was being investigated based on petitions it received from the public that Nigeria Military had chased away FCDA contractors who were working on infrastructure earlier in the months, the minister pleaded that FCDA be allowed to discuss with those concerned, believing they would revert to the Senate.
Major General Pat Ake who appeared on behalf of the Chief of Army Staff corroborated that Nigeria Military was capable of resolving the impasse with FCDA, maintaining they were ready to comply with the outcome

Shocking! Read The Confessions Of A Man Who Killed 114 Babies And Two Of His Sisters

shrine
According to reports, a former Ghanaian ritualist known as Nana Wan, confessed to killing lots of people including 114 babies and two sisters, during his native doctor days.
Nana Wan who confessed his deeds at a deliverance session in Resurrection Power Ministry church in Accra on Sunday, September 25, said he did all he did in a bid to be very wealthy. According to him, he ran to the church after being told that he would be a dead man by 8pm on Monday, September 26.
Nana claimed to have become a ritualist after he was forced to assume the role of a breadwinner to his family after his father abandoned his mother and his five siblings, about six years ago. He claims the hard time they faced, made him follow 12 men to an island in Benin Republic where he was introduced to marine spirits. He reportedly went through two stages of rituals before becoming a ‘certified’ native doctor/ritualist.
Nana also claims the marine spirit ordered him home to Ghana, stating that whatever work he chose to do in one week, would bring him riches beyond his wildest dreams. Armed with that assurance, he went ahead to work with a plantain seller for a week, and the day after, a lady from the marine world who was reportedly the first daughter of the mermaid, asked him how much wealth he wanted.
He reportedly told her he wanted GH¢20 million (about N2 billion), he was asked to go out and on his return, he discovered that a bag he had in the room was already filled with millions of cedis. He also said the woman visited him every week to top up his ‘account’ and to also have s*x with him.
According to him, this continued for three whole years until the marine spirit made a demand he couldn’t agree to. He was reportedly asked to sacrifice a newborn baby every two months, or risk dying like two other people who joined the kingdom at the same time he did. In order to make things easier for him, he found a nurse at the 37 military hospital in Accra, whom he paid GH¢100,000 (about N10 million) per transaction, to get him new born babies. He reportedly sacrificed a total of 114 babies, before he pleaded with the marine spirit to allow him change his mode of sacrifice.
Nana Wan’s sacrifice now changed from sacrificing newborns, to having s*x with the spirit daily, and he almost died from the frequent s*x and also discovered he urinated blood almost all the time.
He was eventually asked to bring members of his family for the sacrifice to save his life, and he ended up offering his son and two of his sisters. He revealed that he sacrificed his sisters who the marine spirits killed through road accidents while driving the Range Rover jeeps he gifted them. The marine spirits however did not stop at killing his sisters, they demanded for his mother’s life as well and despite his pleas to have her spared, the spirits insisted.
Nana Wan said his mother was saved after heeding a prophet’s warning against receiving the car her son bought in her name. His mother’s rejection caused the marine spirit to give him a deadline about his death (one month). Facing his imminent death, he ran to different churches and eventually ended up at the Resurrection church where he repented and was delivered, and told that he would lose all the wealth he got from the marine world

The price of food has further crashed in Bauchi after a bumper harvest

food
The price of foodstuffs have crashed further in Bauchi state after months of soaring food prices.
Checks in some of the major markets in the state revealed that prices of foodstuffs have reduced by 50% , Daily Trust reports.
According to Malam Adamu Kafin Maigari, a grain seller at Muda Lawal Market, Bauchi, a bag of maize which few months ago was going for N18,000 now sells for N9,000 while local rice that used to cost N35,000 is now being sold at N20,000.
He also said that a bag of beans is now sold at N16,000 from its previous price of N25,000, while a bag of millet and white rice popularly called Shinkafar Tuwo, now cost N9,000 and N20,000 respectively from their previous prices of N15,000 and N37,000.
Kafin Maigari attributed the crash in prices to the bumper harvest recorded in the country following the massive engagement in farming by many people.
However the grain seller expressed concern with the high cost of foreign rice which is still sold at N18,500 per bag.
He called on the federal government to address the shortage of foreign currencies particularly the dollar, to enable importers conduct their legal businesses without hitches.
Meanwhile, the prices of food items have crashed in Hadejia, Jigawa state. PM News reports that the crash in food price is as a result of ‘a significant increase in the supply of agricultural produce to the market’.
According to investigations by NAN at Hadejia market, food prices were down by about 30 percent. Now, a bag of millet goes for N14, 000 as against N18, 000 while a bag of paddy rice went for N8, 500 as against its previous price of N11,
