A MEDICAL IS SCHEDULED FOR TODAY…

The Marseille striker will fly to London for a medical today after being granted special permission to leave the Belgian squad to finalise a deal with the Blues.
Chelsea have leap frogged Crystal Palace to snatch up a £33million deal with Marseille for Belgium striker Michy Batshuayi.
The Blues were in the race with Crystal Palace, Juventus and West Ham to land the striker, who scored 17 goals in Ligue 1 last season.
Stamford Bridge was far too tempting for the Belgium International as he decided to join fellow National teammate Eden Hazard at the Pensioners.
The 22-year-old has now been granted special permission to leave the EURO’S and the Belgium squad for a medical reportedly set for today sometime and is expected to sign a five-year deal to officially become Antonio Conte’s first signing as Blues manager.
As reported by Mirror Sport on June 9th, Chelsea Football Club have had Batshuayi in their sights for some time.
They had planned to step up interest had their other targets, Everton’s Romelu Lukaku and Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata offers fell through
